Connection speed
A measure of how fast data travels over your Internet connection. It's measured in Kbps (Kilobits per second). If you have a 28.8K modem, data comes to you at 28.8 Kbps. The most common connection speed is 56K. An ISDN (integrated services digital network) connection is faster than a 56K modem, and DSL (digital subscriber line) is faster than ISDN.
